Classes and Activities

We offer a varied programme of classes and activities through the week as part of our wellbeing and skill-building work. All our groups are designed to build confidence and skills, and to provide opportunities for having fun and making new friends.

Learn English

  • Our classes are informal and can be joined any time, space permitting.


  • We have 3 levels of class:

- Pre-Entry (complete beginner)

- Entry 1 (beginner)

- Entry 2/3 (intermediate)


  • We have some conversation classes available too.


  • A creche is available during all morning classes.


Please ask for Grenna at reception when we are open, Tuesday-Thursday, to register for a class.

Computer Club

Wednesday mornings 10 - 12
A computer club with a teacher and volunteer supporters. We have a waiting list, please ask at reception to register.

Rainbow Haven Choir



Supported by Music Action International, our choir learn songs from around the world and rehearse for community performances. 

Mamas and Babies Group

in Gorton on Wednesdays (with a creche for older children)


A safe and friendly group for pregnant women and mothers of new babies to share experiences, get information and have fun. Please come and ask at reception when we are open (Tuesday-Thursday) or email info@rainbowhaven.org.uk to find out how to join this group.
